Who we are

Juniper Maids is a residential house cleaning company based in Coppell, Texas, serving Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine, Coppell, Flower Mound and Irving / Las Colinas. You can reach us at 469-209-5002 or info@junipermaids.com.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to clean your home and get paid for it.

• Contact details — your name, email address and phone number.
• Your home — the service address, and anything you choose to tell us about getting in and working there: a gate or door code, where to park, which rooms to skip, whether there is a dog.
• Service history — the visits you have booked, when they happened, which team cleaned, what was charged and what you were invoiced.
• Payment method details — the card brand, last four digits and expiry date. Never the full card number. See Payment below.
• Sign-in information — an email and a password we store only as a cryptographic hash, or, if you use Google to sign in, the account identifier and email Google gives us.

We do not buy personal information about you from anyone, and we do not build a profile of you beyond your history with us.

Text messages

We will not share your phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is disclosed to our messaging provider, Twilio, solely so that they can deliver messages on our behalf.

Texting is optional. You choose it by ticking a box when you book — it is never ticked for you — and you can stop at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by changing your notification preference in your account. Replying HELP gets you our contact details.

The messages are about your own cleanings: a confirmation when you book, a reminder the day before, a note when your team is on the way, and a receipt afterwards. We do not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies by how often you book, typically two to eight messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.

Declining texts does not affect your service. You will get the same information by email.

Payment

We never see or store your full card number. Card details are sent directly from your browser to Stripe, our payment processor, and Juniper Maids receives only the card brand, the last four digits, the expiry date and a token that lets us charge the card later. Stripe processes this information as described in their privacy policy.

Your card is saved when you book and charged after the clean is finished, at the flat price you were quoted. Nothing is charged at the time of booking. We keep the last four digits and the card brand so you can recognise the card on your invoices.

Who else sees your information

The cleaners assigned to your home see what they need to do the job: the address, how to get in, and your standing instructions. Beyond that, we share your information only with the service providers that run parts of this business for us, and only for that purpose:

• Stripe — card payments.
• Twilio — text messages and email.
• Amazon Web Services — hosting for the site and the database behind it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Cookies

When you sign in we set one cookie that keeps you signed in. It holds nothing but an opaque session identifier, cannot be read by scripts on the page, and is cleared when you sign out. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and service history for as long as you have an account with us, and afterwards for as long as we need it for tax and accounting purposes. Standing instructions and door codes are deleted when you delete the address they belong to.

Your choices

You can see and change your address, standing instructions and notification preference at any time in your account. To get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, email info@junipermaids.com or call 469-209-5002 and we will take care of it. Deleting your account does not remove invoices we are required to keep for tax purposes.

Children

This service is for adults booking cleaning for their own home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change affects how we use your information in a material way, we will tell you before it takes effect.
